According to a post on Pete Townshend’s blog, The Who are going to stage anotherQuadrophenia tour next year. “The reason I am not on the road with Roger is that this is entirely Roger’s adventure, one that is bringing him great joy,” Townshend wrote.  “I don’t belong on this Tommy tour. I wish him well, sincerely, and I look forward to playing with Roger again doing Quadrophenia next year.”

We’ll keep posted on the latest; meanwhile, here’s Roger performing on his afore mentioned Tommy tour:

Still traumatized by the lockout?  It’s like, they said it’s over, we know it’s over, but somewhere in the back of our heads, we still don’t trust that it’s over.  More evidence, as the Black & Gold return to Metairie; meanwhile, Times-Picayune beat reporters James Varney and Mike Triplett break down the lockout aftermath for our boys.

After four months of facing a football-free fall, a new CBA is in place, and the NFL will get back to business this week, saving us from a boring summer in which lady soccer, hotdog eating competitions and cycling were the big stories. But for labor negotiations that were so complex, the actual reason for the lockout ending is actually pretty simple, and it has nothing to do with rookie wage scales, revenue sharing or season length.

Once again proof that dogs are awesome!A Dog Tried to Bring a Baby Pool Inside, and Succeeded. Then it decides it doesn’t want to be in the sun anymore, so it tries to drag the pool inside the house. The problem is, the sliding glass door is only open about a foot and a half. But he still manages to get the pool inside . . . after all the water splashes out.
